Changing Materials And Concept or Idea

From the technical standpoint first, it is likely that I am going to buy the stands, specifically the photography stands, rather than building it entirely due to time constraint and size of the stand itself, so I needed some more portable, less weight, and have it more prepared and on the go. Plus, with the stands I found, they do have mounting points for certain projectors so I am wanting to get them ordered as quick as possible. The stands do also come with angle adjustments for whatever the direction it'll be needed, especially pointing it downward at a much steeper angle. The black tinted plexiglass are another thing I am going to buy but they are also the size I needed. They are standard 12 by 24 inches but also 1/8 of inches thick. They do come in pack of 3 but may buy more just incase the brightness from the projector is very bright to the point it's still penetrating a lot of tinted layers. I am avoiding doing the mirror reflection as they require complex mounting poi...

Projection Issues and Finding Right Tinted Material

Image
For awhile, I've trying to figure out the height of the stand for the projector due to the fact that it cannot be hung from the ceiling. It is very likely the projectors willing be sitting up high around eight to ten feet high from the ground since they will require a very angular position to project the media onto the table and the tinted glass or acrylic. The glass or acrylic piece will be placed on a small stand or some-sort since it'll act as a table vision for the projector. Though, other materials like small furniture or computers and such will be provided later on since I still need to test the projector's zoom, brightness, and sharpness. Though, the projectors I picked up, at least 1 for now, is extremely bright for the tinted tempered glass panel I brought in the studio to test it. Also, due to the reflections on a "glass" I needed to figure out a way to hide the reflection or find some way to reduce the brightness, in which I have not tested to lower i...

Measurements - Creating Projector Stand and Installation Space

Almost a week ago during another class as we're given a guidance to the Chapman Art Gallery, I had figured out which area I'll be doing for the BFA Exhibition Show and how much space I'll be needing. It is very likely that I'll be having about 8 x 8 or 10 x 10 feet from the "Projector" wall (or South Wall to be exact) where my main installation will be located depending on the "furniture" materials I'll be bringing in. I have rerun the code from my own apartment to make sure the networking still works along with minimal delay. Distance to distance isn't bad but still need to test at much further range if I wanted to put it at another area for my second installation. I may also need to rework the code to work with the delay. I haven't built the projector stand yet but I am getting close on how it's going to be built. It is going to be just a basic but a very tall projector stand since we are NOT allowed to hang anything from the ce...

Acquiring majority of the materials

I had picked up some of the materials that I will be needing to start my final project but also tested them to make sure they can handle it too. So far, the codes I have used from previous semester still remains intact with no issues whatsoever. I will be continuing to conduct more improvements and experimentation over the Wifi distances. Meanwhile, I have been looking out to see what I needed to gather up for the projectors. I was able to talk to my BFA Exhibition professor on the situation I need to be aware of which is no objects are suppose to hang from the ceiling in the Art Gallery. I may need to figure out how high exactly it'll need to be as the projector is needed to point downward towards the tempered glass that I have received. If glass is too dangerous then acrylic will be another good alternative. Another concern I have encounter is finding another location for my second installation of my project. Since location is needed, there are two available (at least from wh...
